Allows use of 1.44 Floppy Diskettes. Most machines come standard
with this even though it is not used as much anymore now that cd's are so
inexpensive and cd burner drives are not that much anymore. There was a superdrive
that never caught on that can still be found but we don't recommend purchasing
one.
With the addition and cost of CD Burners Zip drives have faded as being a normal use item like
floppy disks. Standard Zip Drives are 100mb and 250mb.
